

Individual Therapy
Amidst the unfolding events at both collective and personal levels, you may find yourself grappling with overwhelming emotions such as grief, guilt, despair, and loneliness. Sometimes, it can feel challenging to articulate what weighs heavily on your heart. You might yearn to confide in someone and to explore what may be holding you back.
My focus lies in working with women and men who come from or who live in the Middle East and Africa. Sensitivity to diverse cultures, religions, and values helps to jump start the therapeutic relationship, as a common language and understanding underlies the relationship. Having lived across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the US, I understand the intricacies that accompany the immigrant, refugee and diaspora experience and understand the psychological toll inflicted by war and its repercussions on those who endure its hardships directly and indirectly.
Therapy will provide a safe non-judgemental space to share and explore your life. Together, we can delve into your childhood, family dynamics, and the cultural tapestry that has woven through your life, exploring how these experiences have shaped your journey to the present moment.

My background, rooted in Sudanese heritage yet also partly Lebanese, provides a dual perspective as both an insider and an outsider. This unique vantage point creates a safe space for exploring topics that may otherwise be considered taboo or shameful.
SESSION PRICES
Sessions are either 55 minutes or 85 minutes and can be held in-person and online. The in-person sessions are held in London, in Hackney at a bright and spacious office. Online sessions can be held through Zoom, WhatsApp or FaceTime.
